Jayne Castle is the pseudonym that Krentz makes use of for her futuristic science fiction novels set on the planet Harmony. Among the Harmony series books are also part of other Arcane Society trilogies.

The aliens have been gone for centuries, but the secure guards they left behind nonetheless perform.
It has been 200 years since the curtain to Earth closed. Not one of the machines from Earth will work and humans have developed new technology that operates by activating a neighborhood stone they name Amber to power electricity and other machines. Some have developed talents to make use of native amber to govern the vitality fields in the catacombs as well as different options on the planet. Numerous Guilds have been formed round these talents. Essentially the most famous of which is the powerful Ghost Hunter Guild.
And let us not neglect the cute, loyal however typically ferocious indigenous Mud Bunnies, who like to pick out special humans to kind attachments with. These little strolling mud mops have many talents of their very own.
